Los Angeles Clippers were founded in 1970. Firstly they started playing as Buffalo Braves after some time they changed their name to San Diego Clippers and in 1984 they changed their name to Los Angeles Clippers. They have seen many ups and downs in their early years. They play their home games in Home Arena.

The authorization was founded in 1970. They were named Buffalo Braves after some time when they changed their Los Angeles Clippers. The team saw little success in 1978 although they have lost in playoffs during all six years of living in San Diego. The Clippers qualified for the postseason for 4 times but won only 1 playoff. They were frequently considered everlasting losers in American professional sports, drawing unfavorable comparisons to the historically successful Lakers.
